EXCUSES & EXAMS

Unfortunately, some students lie to teachers with the advantage of considering their right to take an extra examination because of an excuse. Most times, that excuse refers to an illness.

I assume some cases are true. On the other hand, I see too many times too many ill students.

Be that as it may, I have to guarantee the right of students to have their examinations.

The only thing I can do is trying to be fair myself. I am aware of the messy situation of schools today. I want to be prepared beforehand:

cases

a/regular student w

The examination is distributed in 2 parts:

35 % mid-term exam + 35 % mid-term exam

-

b/irregular student x:

the student misses one of  35% mid-terms exams (with or without reason)

   70 % exam

-

c/irregular student y:

the student misses two tests (with or without reason)

80 % exam [count a total mark of 100]

-

d/irregular student z:

80 % exam (Incidences Day)

'Well, when I was in classes at the University and I didn't catch something that the professor was saying, I used to ask some of my classmates if they could explain me, but if they doubt about it or couldn't explain me the concept, most of the times I raised my hand and ask the professor to explain me what he or she had just said'
